The LeTort Trust Foundation formerly the Atgooth Foundation was created in 2011 to leverage Letort Trust’s success into a platform for building better lives and brighter futures within our communities we server.
MISSION
The LeTort Trust Foundations mission is threefold, reflecting our commitment to fostering positive change in the communities that we serve.
1.Providing financial literacy and educational opportunity to our youth. The LeTort Trust foundation is dedicated to providing the youth in our region with educational resources and opportunities and further initiatives that support financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
2. Serves as a community resource in their time of need. As part of our commitment to give back to Central Pennsylvania Communities we partner with local charitable organizations providing food and housing, child development, veteran services, legal and violence intervention and prevention services.
3. Cultivate team ownership of giving. Each year we encourage our team members to make giving back a personal mission. Our unique approach of dedicated funds for our teams to make contributions to organizations that hold a personal significance and empowering them to make change in their communities.
PLEDGE
Each year the company makes a commitment to give 5% of the profits earned back to the community to improve the lives of others. Since the foundations establishment, the LeTort Trust Foundation has supported local non-profit initiatives and organization with direct direct donations in excess of $1,100,000.
Each year LeTort Trust provides financial and volunteer support to Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week (PFEW), a one-of-a-kind summer program that offers incoming high school juniors and seniors a unique and challenging opportunity to see what it’s like to run their own business. PFEW shares in Atgooth’s mission of ensuring children in our region are given financial and business education. Over the last decade LeTort has gifted $161,151 and sponsored 256 students through the program.
Throughout 2021 and 2022 LeTort will be completing 20 acts of service in honor of our upcoming 20th business anniversary.

Detective Coleen Redifer with the Hampden Township Police Department started their annual Backpack Project, knowing first-hand, how important it is for kids to feel prepared on their first day of school and how detrimental it can be when they don’t. She said she saw a need in the community and wanted to do everything in her power to make sure the local students have the supplies they need. When the opportunity arose to help them give back, we knew we wanted to jump on board!
Junior Achievement empowers young people to own their future economic success through financial education which is also one of Atgooth’s top priorities. We support them in various ways throughout the year with donations, participating in their events, and volunteering in classrooms throughout South Central PA.
